1939 Christmas card signed by King George VI and his wife Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Official card is signed "Bertie / 1939" and "Elizabeth" below a photograph of the young Royals with their two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret. The card reads, "With Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year" and, upon the front is a gilt crown, monogrammed "GRE". Opened, card measures 11.5" x 8.25" with a blue ribbon down the middle. In very good condition with some toning. Signatures remain very bold.
