Jefferson Davis photo signed. Full-length portrait of Davis bears his autograph inscription to his nephew Maunsell White of Deer Range, Louisiana. Dedication reads, ''Affectionately your friend / and uncle / Jefferson Davis'' upon the photo's border at the lower right. Other notations by unknown hands are present at the lower left and top center. Framed in its original antique wooden frame with gilt decoration. Toning, fading and silvering to image, else near fine.
