Gerald Ford typed letter signed as House Minority Leader, dated 3 January 1968. Ford responds to a Ms. Porter, "…I appreciate having the benefit of your views and observations about some of the policies of the Johnson Administration…I am sure with a change in administration on January 20 we will see some substantial alterations in both our foreign and domestic policies…[signed] Gerald Ford". Letter on his Congressional stationery measures 8" x 10.5". Some small soiling spots, else near fine condition.
