Written upon ''Handy Brothers Music Co., Inc.'' stationery, with the tagline ''Genuine American Music'', letter warns a young composer about the rough and tumble music business. Lengthy letter reads in part, ''...competition is so keen..Now, you know Columbia and [NBC] are building up their own organization...I am not trying to discourage you, simply stating facts and if yours goes through consider yourself lucky...'' On two separate 8.5'' x 11'' pages; very good condition.
