Joseph Heller autograph letter signed, referencing the extensive collection of his manuscripts at Brandeis University. Undated, though accompanied by envelope handwritten by Heller, postmarked 16 April 1974. Letter on Heller's personal stationery reads, ''Dear James Nagel: By all means, help yourself to the papers at Brandeis--that's why they're there. I'm glad things went well. I hope you'll let me know when the books [Critical Essays on Catch-22] are available. I'd like to order several copies. J.H.'' 4'' x 5.75''; very good condition.
