Official King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra framed coronation invitation, which took place on 26 June 1902. Addressed to a Mrs. G. Ambrose-Lee in light ink, printed invitation reads in full, ''Coronation of Their Majesties King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra / By Command of the King The Earl Marshal is Directed to Invite [Ambrose-Lee] To Be Present at the Abbey Church of Westminster on the 26th Day of June 1902''. Signed by the Earl Marshal with a blindstamp embossing. Invitation is housed in a wood frame and to verso is glued the entrance ticket to ''Nave South - Gallery'' and compliments slip from the Earl Marshal's Office. Invitation measures 10'' x 8'' and is framed to an overall size of 12.25'' x 10.5''. Some minor toning and scratches to glass of frame, else near fine.
