Official King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra coronation dinner invitation. Edward VII was crowned in August 1902, some months after the death of his mother, Queen Victoria. Blank invitation features portraits of King Edward and Queen Alexandra and reads in part, ''King Edward VII Coronation Dinner / Admit / To / On July 5th 1902...'' Edward VII fell ill in late June of 1902, and the coronation was postponed until 2 August, making this invitation obsolete. Measures 5'' x 4'' with some toning throughout and a scratch to lower portion. Else very good.
