Grover Cleveland document signed as President. Rare appointment signed ''Grover Cleveland'' is dated 22 June 1894. Partially-printed document appoints Charles T. Forse to the position of Lieutenant Commander in the Navy. A cobalt blue seal of the Navy is affixed at the bottom, beneath an etched nautical scene. Measures 15.75'' x 19.75''. Light creasing. Near fine.
