2001 Sports Emmy Award for ''Outstanding Technical Team - Studio'' for Fox NFL Sunday. Fox camera man Joseph R. Bohman was recognized with the prestigious honor. The first Sports Emmy Award was issued in 1950 as part of a regular Emmy ceremony, though the field of sports coverage earned a ceremony all its own in 1979. Posed atop a rectangular base is the iconic winged woman holding an atom, symbolizing the relationship between art and science intrinsic to television. Award measures 15.5'' in height, on a circular base measuring 7.5'' in diameter. Weighs 6 lbs. 14 oz. Black felt underside has an Emmy sticker and an R.S. Owens sticker affixed. Minor scratches, else near fine.
