The ''Repentant'' Nazi, Albert Speer typed letter signed, dated 16 January 1973. Speer writes to American acquaintance Elaine Lincoln in German, ''...I have not yet heard what the film will look like. I myself wonder what adventures await me with this project. But it's right that the young Englishman make the film, which Paramount finances. But it's not going to be a historical document, but a real movie and I have already seen photographs of the actor that is going to play me!...[signed] Albert Speer''. Folded document on Speer's letterhead measures 6'' x 8.25''. Lightly toned, else near fine condition. Original envelope and full translation included.
