Military document signed by Claude Dallemagne, one of Napoleon's top Generals who fought in the American Revolutionary War. Document on "Empire Francaia" letterhead is dated 24 November 1807 and reports that the soldier Jean Francois Michel is "leaving tomorrow the 25th" and describes him as "1 meter 60 centimeters tall, an oval face, brown eyes, an average nose, an average mouth…" From the Council of Administration of the 21st Light Infantry. Measures 8.25" x 12.5". Soiling to top and foxing; very good. With engraving of Dallemagne.
