Rose Kennedy handwrites a postcard to her sister-in-law Loretta Connelly. Postmarked 1956, it bears an image of the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, with French stamps affixed to verso. She describes the Catholic family's visit to Rome: ''Shall be home soon & shall phone you - Just returned from Rome where I said His Holiness stayed at Embassy which was great fun. Love to all / Rose''. Measures 4'' x 6''. Light wear to edges; near fine.
