Curved pottery shard recovered from a sunken Spanish Galleon in the treasure fleet of 1715. A hurricane sunk 11 ships in the fleet after leaving Cuba for Spain, losing more than 14 million pesos in registered treasure and making it one of the worst maritime disasters of all time. Measures approximately 5.75'' high, 4'' wide and 0.25'' thick. Includes a COA from Cobb Coin Company, which recovered the treasure from the sea floor in 1985.
