Vintage Louis Vuitton steamer trunk dating to the late 1920's. Wooden trunk's interior is stamped in blue ink, ''Louis Vuitton / Paris 1. Rue Scribe / 149 New Noro St. London''. Also stamped with serial number 125646. Steamer trunk is wrapped in coated canvas bearing the signature ''LV'' monogram pattern and trimmed in black metal. Lid opens to a spacious interior lined in cream canvas, with lid lined luxuriously in caramel color fabric with faux tufting. Trunk on four casters features double handles and brass hardware including double buckle front closures and an LV stamped lock. Side is monogrammed in black ink, ''J.C.P.'' Measures 31.75'' x 19.75'' x 22.75''. Staining to upper left of lid lining and scattered nicks and scratches from use, else very good.
