Collection of signed items from autograph-shy astronaut Neil Armstrong. Two signed items include: (1) NASA book ''This Island Earth'' with inscription reading ''To Kathy / Best of luck / Neil Armstrong / Apollo 11''. Red cloth book discusses all aspects of planet Earth with color photos on nearly every page. Signature is on rear free endpaper. 182pp. measures 9.25'' x 11.5''; (2) signed business card inside framed color photo of Armstrong on the moon. The card, from an employee at B.F. Goodrich, is signed on the front ''Neil Armstrong / Apollo 11'' in blue pen. Card measures 3.5'' x 1.75'' inside a frame measuring 8.75'' x 11.25''. Additional items include four glossy color photos of Armstrong on the moon, photocopy of Armstrong at a NASA reception, and a ''Life'' magazine dated 8 August 1969 celebrating the moon landing. Book has minor dent to backstrip and signature page is lightly toned; near fine. Toned business card is trimmed around edges and has a small portion of soiling affecting signature; very good condition.
