This personal check, with Armstrong and wife Janet's name printed on it, is made out to ''Indiana Theta Directory Fund'' for $15.00. Armstrong studied aeronautical engineering at Purdue University and pledged its fraternity Phi Delta Theta, known as the Indiana Theta. Written in blue ink and dated 6 August 1987, check measures 6'' x 2.75''. Includes an LOA from space expert Steve Zarelli. Routing numbers stamped on front, not affecting signature.
