Five volumes of Congressional hearings before the House Select Committee on Assassinations, founded in 1978 to investigate the John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King assassinations. U.S. Government Printing Office: Washington: 1978. Five volumes include transcriptions of the hearings, copies of evidence, numerous photos, gruesome diagrams and medical x-rays, all related to Kennedy's assassination. Unlike the Warren Commission, which concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, this Committee found that another gunman acted with Oswald in a ''probable conspiracy,'' although the shots that fatally wounded JFK were fired by Oswald. Paperback volumes each run between 500 and 750 pages. Very minor wear; very good to near fine condition.
