John F. Kennedy dinner plate used aboard the presidential yacht ''Honey Fitz.'' The ship was frequently used by Kennedy's family and close friends, including a surprise birthday party Jackie threw for him in 1963. This white plate, with gold bands and a presidential eagle flanked by two gold stars, is stamped ''Shenango China / New Castle, Pa. / U.S.A. / N8'' and the numbers ''2'' and ''37'' on verso, as identified in the reference book ''Official White House China.'' Measures 10'' diameter. Light wear to gold bands, else near fine.
