In this book, Hoover rebuts FDR's economic policy following the Great Depression, arguing it's ''the most stupendous invasion of the whole spirit of Liberty that the nation has witnessed since the days of Colonial America''. Dark blue cloth boards with gilt titling. Label on pastedown notes that Hoover gifted this book to the Lagunita Court Library. Another private library bookplate appears on front free endpaper under Hoover's signature. 212pp. measures 5.5'' x 7.75''. Light wear and sunning, overall very good.
