Vice President Ford thanks Young for his hospitality in this letter dated 5 April 1974, ''...The warmth and sunshine which I had naturally expected to find in Florida were more than matched by the warm receptivity of you and your lovely wife...We in the Republican Party can indeed prevail if we capitalize on the assets, organizational talents and energies which we know we have...'' 2pp. on Vice Presidential letterhead is signed ''Jerry Ford'' in blue ink.
