Original promotional poster design, rendered in gouache and ink on board, for the 1985 Warner Brothers comedy, ''Spies Like Us''. Directed by John Landis, the film stars Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd as the hilariously incompetent American spies sent to the Soviet Union. Signed by artist ''M. Hobson'', poster depicts each actor posing in profile in ornate costumes with caption beneath reading, ''An American Intelligence Service: A few qualify, a handful survive, But only the best become... Spies Like Us''. Poster with acetate overlay measures 17.5'' x 24.5'' with minor creasing and bends to each strip of white tape framing poster and holding overlay in place. Uneven edges outside tape. Else very good condition.
