Diane Keaton custom-made costume from the MGM drama ''Mrs. Soffel'', in which Keaton played the lead role Kate Soffel opposite Mel Gibson. Set in 1901, Victorian costume reflects the time as a conservative black gown, most likely made of silk, with a high neck collar and lace adorned at sleeves and decolletage. Gown has snaps down the front and two clasps at collar. With original tag sewn to inseam reading: ''Diane Keaton / Mrs. Soffel MGM''. Measures 18'' shoulder to shoulder and 65'' in length.
