Charles Nungesser signed Aviation Insurance Proposal dated 9 October 1924, just three years before his demise attempting to set the transatlantic flight record before Lindbergh. He signs ''C.H. Nungesser'' to the application form, agreeing to terms such as, ''...No cargo. No tests. No passengers for hire...'' Fields are filled out by an unknown hand. Incidentally, the plane listed on the application, Hanroit HD-1, still resides at the Planes of Fame Museum in California. A photo of the uniformed and decorated pilot accompanies the three page contract on two sheets. Measures 8.5'' x 14''. Minor tearing and chipping to edges; separation to folds. Overall very good.
