Actual fireman helmet from early Captain Kangaroo show. This red metal helmet with golden crown and leather ''6 FD'' insignia was featured with Bob Keeshan on the cover of TV Guide dated 29 July 1961. Made by Cairns & Brother, item includes adjustable cushion lining and metal hanging loop on rear underneath. Includes matte framed TV Guide photo measuring 11'' x 14'' with two complete copies of magazine, and additional cover. Overall size of 17'' x 21''. Minor paint loss, with small dent to brim. Overall very good.
