Fred Rogers autograph letter signed to Captain Kangaroo, Robert Keeshan. Upon his Mister Rogers stationery, Rogers writes to his colleague in children's programming, dating his letter 6 January 1994. Letter reads in full, ''Dear Bob, Just as you predicted: the name on the street I lived on for 2 years in Norwich finally came to me - McKenna Road! I rented a little apartment in a house called 'The Redwoods' owned by my piano teacher Lydia Hoffman Behrendt. The house over-looked the college. If you ever go in that road I'd be curious to know who got the house after Mrs. Behrendt died. (Her husband designed it - all on one floor) I have such fond musical memories of that place. I memorized a 100 page piano concerto there (one of my assignments to prepare me for the music dept. at Rollins!) So many years ago it seems like yesterday. It was great to talk with you - as always. I'd love to meet your family someday. Best to you all for a blessed year. / Fred / P.S. We're having a splendid visit with our younger son and his dear wife. / F.'' 3pp. letter on 2 sheets. Measures 5.5'' x 8.5''. Near fine.
