CBS 1978 class photo, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the network. Includes a large color photo of the CBS family, from stars of sitcoms to producers. Bob Keeshan, aka Captain Kangaroo poses on the right corner of the fifth row. Includes two maps detailing the names of each person and where they are posing, one measuring 11'' x 14'' and the other 8.5'' x 11''. Also includes a typed letter signed on official CBS letterhead dated 6 March 1978 and reading in full, ''Dear Bob: I am happy that I had the privilege of sharing with you that very special Sunday when we taped the opening and closing of the CBS 50th Anniversary Celebration. I thought you might like to have the enclosed photograph as a memento of that occasion. With it go my personal thanks and gratitude, Bob, not only for your participation in the show, but for all you have done for the Network''. Signed by CBS President Robert Daly, letter measures 6'' x 8''. Photo is housed in a cream mat and measures 19.5'' x 22'', with a scratch to the face of one of the individuals. Very good.
