Early Captain Kangaroo marketing programs. Bob Keeshan did a series of live children's concerts around the country and these spiral bound programs were used to promote them to advertisers. This lot of three includes: (1) ''Captain Kangaroo at Robin Hood Dell'' program. This Philadelphia event on 22 June 1960 had a 68-piece orchestra. 15pp. on thick paper stock measures 8.5'' x 11''; (2) three copies of ''Enchantment,'' promoting the ''Captain Kangaroo At Carnegie Hall'' television special dated 18 November 1962. 13pp. measures 11'' x 8.5''; (3) ''20,000 Children and Captain Kangaroo'' program touting the huge success of the Philadelphia show. Also includes loose flyer from the local TV station and a 23'' x 16'' poster of the Captain on stage. 24pp. program measures 11'' x 8.5''. Near fine.
