Captain Kangaroo 12 contact sheets from 1955. Sheets from the show's hit first season contain images of Bob Keeshan in costume and on set as the Captain. Charming images show the Captain playing hopscotch, dancing with the Macy's Littlest Snowman and interacting with lambs, chicks and exotic animals. Typed labels affixed to the bottom edge or verso of several sheets bear dates in 1955 as well as the show's name and a brief caption. Some sheets are backstamped, ''Return To / WRITERS PROOF FILE / CBS Television / Press Information''. Glossy sheets measure 8'' x 10''. Wear to edges and staples to upper left corners, else near fine.
