Winston Churchill typed letter signed to his secretary Mrs. Violet Pearman, dated 4 July 1938, just months before his House of Commons speech on the Munich Agreement. Upon his Westerham stationery, Churchill handwrites the inscription, ''My Dear Mrs. P'' and then continues in type, ''Thank you so much for your letter. I am delighted to hear that you are making good progress. [signed] Winston S. Churchill''. Single page measures 8'' x 10''. Very light foxing and creasing; very good condition.
