Golden Globe nomination certificate for Billy Wilder as director of the 1960 film ''The Apartment''. The classic romantic comedy starred Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and Fred MacMurray. Though this movie won the Best Director and Best Picture Oscars, Wilder received only the nomination at the 18th Golden Globes, losing to Jack Cardiff for ''Sons & Lovers''.
