The Hall of Famer responds to a request from a Mrs. O'Brien: ''...It would be rather unreasonable of me not to grant such a simple request...so enclosed you will find an old time autographed photo...my thanks for your support at a recent party...I guess you bored everyone to the extent that you may not receive another invitation...'' Minor creasing and soiling to 7.25'' x 10.5'' single page letter; very good condition.
