''Playboy'' magazine one year anniversary issue. The December 1954 volume features the first playmate, Terry Ryan, photographed entirely under Playboy, particularly Hugh Hefner's, supervision. In prior issues Playboy purchased layouts from independent photographers. The issue also features cartoons from master comic illustrator Jack Cole. 50pp. magazine measures 8.5'' x 11''. Centerfold page is separated but intact. Overall in near fine condition.
