Very nice invitation to the Truman White House dated 17 December 1947. Lot includes original postmarked White House envelope addressed to Miss Jane Lingo of Washington DC and official invitation with embossed Presidential seal and engraved ''Mrs. Truman At Home'' (filled out though not personalized to recipient). Invitation and envelope measure 4.5'' x 3.5'' and 4.75'' x 3.75'' respectively. Very good condition with some toning.
