8th Duke of Argyll, George Campbell autograph note signed dated 20 March 1881. Campbell inscribes to an Edward Bok, ''Sir / I send you my autograph - as you request. Yr obt. sevt. Argyll''. Campbell was Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal, the fifth of the Great Officers of State, between 1853 and 1855. Card style note on ''Lord Privy Seal'' black-bordered stationery with embossed Royal seal measures 4.75'' x 7.25''. Very good condition.
