Incredibly rare test print of the Sex Pistols poster promoting their very last shows in the UK. The ''Nevermind The Bans'' tour took place in December of 1977, at the few venues willing to host the riotous punk band. It reads: ''If You Want The Bans Lifted It's Up To You / Sex Pistols Will Play''. This is a test print for a batch of posters printed later in the tour, with the details for the very last shows hand-added including ''Cancelled by Methodists for the Rochdale Concert @ Champness Hall''. The information for the famous Christmas Day show in Huddersfield at the Ivanhoes Club has also been added. Earlier posters did not include the details for these final dates. This is a single-sided test print used in creating the ultimately double-sided poster. Measures 11.5'' x 16.25'' with toning and foxing in spots, particularly along right edge. A 1'' tear along top edge affects ''The'' in ''If you want the bans lifted''; a second tiny tear has formed along right edge. One horizontal fold along center. Very good.
