Bobby Thomson and Ralph Branca signed photo of the climactic ''Shot Heard Round The World,'' dedicated by Thomson to Giants pitcher Larry Jansen. On 3 October 1951, Thomson hit the walk-off home run that afforded the New York Giants their spot in the World Series, defeating the Dodgers 5-4 for the National League championship. Thomson's autograph inscription on the photo reads in full: ''To Larry & Eileen / A day to remember / Best Always / Bobby Thomson''. The Dodgers pitcher signs ''Ralph Branca'' in blue felt tip and also writes ''Oct 3 - 1951 / Shot Heard A-Round / The World''. 10'' x 8'' glossy photo in its original frame is near fine.
