Eugene O'Neill typed letter signed, dated 25 July with no year, on ''Peaked Hill Bar / Provincetown, Mass.'' stationery, where the famed playwright kept a summer home. Letter, addressed to a Mr. Winslow, reads, ''I'll be glad to autograph the book, and Jones, when you send them on. I'm not much on sentiments, though. But perhaps your collection will inspire me. Cordially yours, Eugene O'Neill''. Letter, measuring 8.5'' x 11'', has minor toning and mailing folds, else near fine.
