Duke & Duchess of Windsor card signed in blue ink: ''Edward / Duke of Windsor'' and ''Wallis / Duchess of Windsor''. Card features a royal crown and personal emblem at top center. Prince Edward, Duke of Windsor, formerly King Edward VIII, abdicated his throne to marry Wallis Simpson, the controversial American socialite, becoming her third husband. Card measures 5.5'' x 3.5'', with a secondary slip of paper reading: ''With the compliments of the private secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor''. Also includes original 1963 postmarked envelope addressed to a Mrs. Oscar Havunen in Connecticut. Very minor smudge to card, else near fine.
