Inauguration Ceremonies Program dated 20 January 1937 for the swearing in of President Franklin Roosevelt and Vice President John Garner. This was the first time the inauguration was held on January 20 and the first time a Vice President was sworn in on the platform with the President instead of in the Senate chamber. 6'' x 9'' 16 page program is embossed on front cover with the Great Seal, bound with red, white and blue ribbon, and illustrated with a drawing of the Capitol on the back. Modest soiling and creasing, else very good.
