Egyptologists Arthur Weigall and Gaston Maspero sign an Egyptian letter dated 19 November 1908 regarding ''...the building of a fence for the temple of Luxor...'' Weigall adds a note in English: ''...give me a report on these two letters / AEW'' and Maspero signs, ''G Maspero''. Maspero contributed to the excavation of the Sphinx and served as the Director of the Service of Antiquities in Egypt. Document measuring 6.75'' x 8.25'' has two punch holes to left side and staple marks at top. Very good. Full translation included.
