Ride, who passed away in July 2012, set her record as the first American woman to orbit Earth as a crew member on the STS-7 mission aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger, launched 18 June 1983. Semi-matte photo measures 8'' x 10''. Light discoloration from album adhesive to verso, else fine.
