Brooklyn Bridge 1883 opening ceremonies invitation. The 9'' x 6.5'' invitation, printed by Tiffany & Co. on heavy cardstock, reads in part: ''The Trustees of the New York and Brooklyn Bridge request the honor of the presence of E. F. Farwell at the Opening Ceremonies to take place on Thursday, May twenty fourth, at two o''clock, P.M.''. Engraved with a vignette of boats on the East River passing beneath the completed bridge. Light dampstaining, else very good condition.
