Nazi commander Karl Fritzsch's personal inkwell. The glass cube inkwell is encased in an oval brass container engraved, ''KARL FRITZSCH / Auschwitz / 1940''. With a reputation as one of the most ruthless members of the SS, he is rumored to have conceived of the idea to use Zyklon B gas as an agent of mass murder. The case top is engraved with a winged Nazi design. Measures 2'' x 2''. Tarnishing and scratching to case, with ink residue inside glass. Very good.
