Rare March 1976 ''Saturday Evening Post'' signed and inscribed by the legendary John Wayne. Cover depicts Wayne posing in his signature western gear and is signed, ''Dave -- Thanks -- It's what you expect but usually don't get from a friend / Duke''. Presumably inscribed to Dave Sutton, the author of the article who was a personal friend. ''Duke'' was a nickname Wayne earned at the young age of 7, named after a pet dog he kept while growing up in Glendale, California. Complete 120pp. magazine measures 10'' x 13''. Near fine condition.
