John Cullen Murphy original artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' Sunday comic strip, #2997 in the series published 17 July 1994. Drawn in ink over graphite, with some red key lines and blue editorial note, on three sections of illustration board, conjoined on verso to measure approximately 14.625'' x 22''. Paste-up of title and logo, as well as some lettering on fourth, fifth and sixth panels. Minor wear, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
