John Cullen Murphy original artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' Sunday comic strip, #2987 in the series published 8 May 1994. Drawn in ink over graphite, with some red key lines and blue editorial note, on three sections of illustration board, conjoined on verso to measure approximately 15.25'' x 20.5''. Missing title, and paste-up of logo and one word on last panel. Minor wear, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
