Jackie Kennedy personally gifted brooch, with an autograph note signed by Jackie, given to Mary Gallagher who served as JFK's secretary and later Jackie's assistant. Gorgeous faux-pearl brooch, with emerald green stone accents, is set in a gold tone rope design by jewelry maker Boucher with their mark of ''6773''. Accompanied by an autograph note signed by Jackie, ''Merry Christmas Mary and lots of love / Jackie'', along with an envelope in Jackie's hand addressed to Gallagher, ''c/o John F. Kennedy'' at the 3307 N St., NW address where JFK famously ran for President, holding press conferences on the front stoop. Brooch measures 1.5'' round. A few of the pearls are gone, not distracting from the beauty of the piece, otherwise near fine. Note and envelope measure 4'' x 3'', in near fine condition. Accompanied by a COA from Mary Gallagher who notes that she received the brooch in 1960.
