Bush signed copy of ''Read My Lips: No New Taxes'', referring to the President's famous declaration which propelled him to the Presidency in 1988, but later hurt him during the 1992 campaign after new taxes were passed in the 1990 budget. Oroville, CA: Butte College Press, 1999. With a foreward by Bush, and signed by him on the flyleaf in black ballpoint. Beautifully bound in navy cloth boards with gilt lettering. Book measures 7.25'' x 9.375''. Near fine condition.
