Rare first issue of ''Playboy'' magazine, December 1953, Volume I. Landmark issue of Hefner's controversial men's magazine features the famous color centerfold of Marilyn Monroe. All first issue points are present including the two-staple binding and black square printed to upper right of the front cover. Runs 43pp. and measures 8.5'' x 11''. Light wear and abrasions, including creasing and mild toning, with covers detached but repaired with tape to the spine. Overall very good condition.
