Douglas MacArthur autograph note signed, responding to a letter dated 16 November 1958 from a Willard Munroe. Munroe, who is in possession of a letter from an Arthur MacArthur, asks if it could be the General's father. MacArthur writes, ''Such a letter could not have been written by my Father who was born that year -- but could have been written by my Grandfather. Regards - D. McA.'' Mild toning and creasing to 8.5'' x 11'' letter, else very good.
